They host big names as well, but we don't often take in those shows. Unfortunately the staff were helpful but didnt seem. If I was writing the review based on this alone, Id give 5 stars. Northern Lights Casino is a nice casino with a good variety of gaming. The music/entertainment includes both local groups to touring acts, as well as a karaoke lounge! It could have been at an off hour, mealtime so no blame there either! They serve the basics and usually have specials and a nice carved meat at supper time. We have been through the buffet several times and only once had substandard fare. There's a gift shop with Native American themed items and all the usual Minnesota souvenirs which is very reasonable in cost.
fault, but they refunded us a bit due to our having to deal with a wet carpet. The room was very clean and nice, but there was an issue with someone letting a tub overflow in the room above us. We have a summer place on Leech Lake and also were able to stay in a room while we waited for some updates.
